Lance is a 22-year veteran of the US Air Force with a career focused on intelligence and cyber. He served as an intelligence analyst at the Air Intelligence Agency, Air Force Information Warfare Center, and the National Security Agency. While serving, he earned his degree in Computer Science and obtained a commission to serve out the remainder of his career as a commissioned officer.

He shifted his focus to Air Force Cyber and returned to the National Security Agency to work in the Information Assurance Directorate. Toward the end of his career, the Air Force tasked Lance and 30 other officers to modernize the Air Force’s Cyber Officer curriculum with a greater focus on Cyber Warfare and Industrial Control Systems. That curriculum is still used today to train the Air Force’s Cyber Officers of the future.

Today Lance works in the private sector building out cyber defense strategies and teams. He brings that experience to his consultancy services, helping municipalities and state facilities modernize their cyber strategies and protect valuable critical infrastructure.
